first steps in the design process

View images online, visit a cemetery and discover your preferences. Find elements to incorporate and develop a budget for the mausoleum.

build on-site or prefabricate

Many private mausoleums can be prefabricated and delivered to the cemetery in one piece. Larger mausoleums will require on-site construction.

granite selection

While we source granite from all over the world, we prefer granite from North America. Strong relationships with quarries guarantees the highest quality granite.

SELECTING A BRONZE DOOR

The bronze door is a key element to the appearance of a private mausoleum. All of our bronze doors are manufactured by Waukegan Architectural, Inc.

carving styles

Full-round relief carvings to shape carvings to flat carvings all have their place in mausoleum design. We will demonstrate the styles and provide recommendations.

reading mausoleum blueprints

Blueprints showing each individual piece of granite and bronze are provided for every mausoleum we build. Don't worry, we will take the time to explain every detail.

number of crypts

The number of crypt spaces will in many cases determine the size of the mausoleum. Decide how many spaces to include in the mausoleum.

granite finishes

There are many finishes available for the granite. We will explain the differences and recommend the best combinations for your individual design.

SELECTING A STAINED GLASS

There is a wide variety of standard stained glass patterns to select from. A custom made stained glass pattern can also be produced for your private mausoleum.

Mausoleum Columns

The most common column styles are Tuscan, Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. Let us explain the difference and help you select the right columns for your mausoleum.
